3D Home Architect

Nova AI Apps 3D Home Architect is a browser-based 3D room planner that lets users design interior layouts in real time, directly inside their browser with no installs, no accounts, and no external APIs. The app opens with a clean 3D room, an interactive floor, and a side control panel where users can add smart objects like tables, chairs, sofas, lamps, and security cameras. Each object is fully interactive: users can click to select it, see a visual bounding highlight, rotate it around the Y-axis, and drag it freely across the floor while staying inside the room boundaries. The Smart Lamp object includes real dynamic lighting: users can change light color with a color picker, adjust intensity, and toggle the light on/off, instantly seeing the effect on the scene. The Security Camera object can pan and tilt via dedicated sliders, simulating how a surveillance device views the room. All interactions are fluid, with OrbitControls allowing users to orbit, pan, and zoom in the 3D space using the mouse (left-click to orbit, right-click to pan, scroll to zoom), while a subtle on-screen toast reminds them of the controls. Every item added to the scene is stored locally using the browser’s localStorage, so the entire layout (positions, rotations, lamp color, lamp intensity, camera angles) is automatically persisted between sessions.
