Crontab Guru is a fast, offline-first utility that helps developers and system administrators instantly understand complex cron schedule expressions. It translates the cryptic cron syntax into a simple, human-readable sentence. How it Works: Enter Expression: Type or paste any 5-part cron schedule expression (e.g., */15 * 1 * *) into the input field. Get Instant Translation: As you type, the application immediately analyzes the expression and displays a clear, natural language explanation below it (e.g., "Every 15 minutes, on day-of-month 1."). Error Highlighting: If you enter an invalid expression, the input box will be highlighted in red, and a clear error message will explain what's wrong (e.g., "Invalid expression: A cron string must have exactly 5 parts."). Field Guide: A simple guide below the explanation reminds you of the order of the cron fields: Minute, Hour, Day (Month), Month, and Day (Week).
