DocBlock Generator is a utility for developers that automates the creation of properly formatted documentation comment blocks for functions. It supports several common language standards, helping to improve code clarity and maintainability. How it works step-by-step: Select Style: The user begins by choosing the desired documentation style from a dropdown menu (e.g., JSDoc, PHPDoc, Python Docstring). Describe the Function: They enter a clear, concise description of what the function does in the main description field. Define Parameters: For each parameter the function accepts, the user clicks "+ Add Parameter" and fills in its name, data type (e.g., string, number), and a brief description. Specify Return Value: The user defines the data type and a description for the value that the function returns. Instant Generation: As the user types, the application instantly generates and displays a perfectly formatted DocBlock in the output area, aligning all the tags and types for clean, readable code. Copy and Use: The generated comment block can be copied to the clipboard with a single click, ready to be pasted directly above the corresponding function in their code editor. The interface also includes a persistent dark mode for user comfort.
