FileTree Generator

FileTree Generator is a rapid scaffolding tool for developers, project managers, and educators. It allows you to design a complete project directory structure using simple, indented text and instantly generate a downloadable .zip file containing that exact structure. How it Works: Define Your Structure: In the input area, type out your desired folder and file structure. Use two spaces of indentation to create subdirectories. Mark folders by ending their names with a forward slash (/). See a Live Preview: As you type, a clean, visual representation of your file tree is generated in the preview panel, complete with folder and file icons. Generate the ZIP: Once you are satisfied with your structure, click the "Generate .zip" button. The application will instantly create and download a compressed .zip archive containing all the specified folders and empty files, ready to be used as a project boilerplate. Personalize Your View: Choose from several beautiful color palettes to customize the application's appearance. Your theme preference is saved locally for your next visit.
