LED Pattern Designer

LED Pattern Designer is a visual tool for hobbyists and developers working with programmable LED strips (like NeoPixel or WS2812B). It provides an intuitive interface to design static light patterns and instantly generate the corresponding code array for use in microcontroller projects (e.g., Arduino, ESP32) or software. How it works step-by-step: Set Strip Size: The user begins by defining the number of LEDs in their virtual strip. Choose a Color: Using the color picker, the user selects a "paint" color. Design the Pattern: The user can design their pattern in two ways: Manual Painting: Clicking individual LEDs on the virtual strip toggles them between the selected paint color and "off" (black). Preset Buttons: Quick-start buttons allow the user to apply common patterns like "Chase," "Blink," "All On," or "All Off" instantly. Generate Code in Real-Time: As the visual pattern is created or modified, the application instantly generates an array representing the color data for each LED. Select Code Format: The user can choose their desired output format from a dropdown menu, with options for C/C++ (for Arduino), Hex values, or a JavaScript/Python array. Copy and Use: The generated code can be copied to the clipboard with a single click, ready to be pasted directly into a project's source code. The app also includes a persistent dark mode.
