Map Studio

Map Studio is a professional-grade, client-side GIS application that transforms your browser into a powerful tool for geospatial data visualization and management. It allows you to import, style, and manage geographic data layers, create custom markers, and export your work, all while ensuring your data remains 100% private and offline-accessible. How it works: Import Data: Begin by importing your geospatial data. The studio supports standard GeoJSON files and complex Shapefiles (as .zip archives). You can also import a previously saved .json session file to restore your work. Manage Layers: Each imported dataset or set of markers becomes a distinct layer in the sidebar. You can easily toggle the visibility of each layer, select it for editing, or delete it. Style Your Data: Select a layer to open the styling panel. For vector data (GeoJSON), you can instantly change the fill color, opacity, stroke color, and width. For marker layers, you can change the color of all markers within that group. Add Custom Markers: Activate the "Add Marker" mode to place custom, draggable pins anywhere on the map. You can add descriptions to each marker, which are saved with your project. Persistent Sessions: All your work—including the map's position, your layers, styles, and markers—is automatically saved to your browser's local database (IndexedDB).
