Material Swatcher

Material Swatcher is a visual design tool for architects, interior designers, and artists to create and compare material palettes. It allows you to build a custom library of materials and experiment with combinations in a simple, drag-and-drop interface. How it works, step-by-step: Build Your Material Library: In the sidebar, add new materials to your personal collection. For each material, you can specify a name, a cost per m², and upload a texture or image. Drag and Drop to Design: Your material library is displayed as a collection of draggable thumbnails. Simply drag any material from the library and drop it onto one of the three swatches on the main board: Main, Secondary, or Accent. Visualize Combinations: The swatch board instantly updates with the dropped material's texture, allowing you to see how different materials look together. This helps you quickly create and visualize aesthetic combinations for your projects. Save and Export: Use the Save and Load buttons to store your entire material library locally in your browser, so you never lose your collection. Click Export CSV to generate a material schedule containing the names and costs of all items in your library, perfect for project budgeting and documentation.
