MockFlow

MockFlow is an offline-first, browser-based tool for developers to design and structure mock API endpoints. It provides a clean, intuitive interface to build out your API's structure, define its responses, and export the entire configuration, all while keeping your data securely in your browser. How it works, step-by-step: Add Endpoints: Begin by clicking the "+ Add New Endpoint" button. This creates a new API route in the sidebar list. Configure Details: Select an endpoint from the list to open the editor. Here you can configure its properties: HTTP Method: Choose from GET, POST, PUT, or DELETE. Route Path: Define the URL path (e.g., /users/:id). Status Code: Set the HTTP status code for the response (e.g., 200, 404). JSON Response Body: Write the mock JSON data that the endpoint should return. Save and Manage: Click "Save Changes" to update the selected endpoint. You can add as many endpoints as you need and delete them at any time. Persist & Export: Use the "Save Project" button to store your entire API configuration in your browser's local storage. Use "Load Project" to restore a previously saved session. Click "Export JSON" to download a single, clean .json file of your entire API structure, ready to be used with mock server tools or for documentation.

Install MockFlow at its install page.
