PerfMonitor
PerfMonitor is a real-time, browser-based load testing tool for developers and QA engineers. It allows you to simulate concurrent users and measure the performance of your API endpoints directly from your browser, providing instant feedback without the need for complex server-side tools. How it works, step-by-step: Configure Your Test: Set up the test parameters in the sidebar: API Endpoint URL: The URL you want to test. Concurrent Users: The number of virtual users making requests simultaneously. Test Duration: How long the test should run in seconds. Start the Test: Click the "Start Test" button to begin the simulation. The application will immediately start sending requests to your specified endpoint. Monitor Real-Time Metrics: As the test runs, the main dashboard updates live with key performance indicators: Requests/sec (RPS): How many requests your API is handling per second. Avg. Latency: The average time it takes for the API to respond. Success & Error Counts: A running tally of successful (2xx) and failed (non-2xx or network errors) responses. View the Live Log: A detailed log table shows every individual request, including its timestamp, status code, and latency, giving you a granular view of the test as it happens. The test will stop automatically after the specified duration, or you can end it early with the "Stop Test" button.
