RegexVision

RegexVision is an interactive, real-time regular expression tester and visualizer. Designed for developers, it provides an intuitive environment to build, test, and save complex regex patterns with instant feedback. How it works step-by-step: Write and Test: The user enters a regular expression and any applicable flags (like g, m, i) into the dedicated input fields. As they type their test string in the text area below, the application instantly highlights all matching parts of the text, providing immediate visual confirmation. Use the Cheatsheet: A built-in cheatsheet provides a quick reference for common regex tokens and syntax. Clicking any item in the list automatically appends it to the current expression, speeding up the writing process. Save & Manage Patterns: Frequently used patterns can be saved with a single click. They are stored in a "Saved Patterns" list in the sidebar, allowing for quick retrieval and reuse across sessions. All saved patterns are persistently stored in the browser's localStorage. Customize the Experience: The entire user interface can be customized with a variety of color themes and a full dark mode, with all preferences saved locally for a personalized workspace.
