StrataSync Pro

StrataSync Pro is a specialized web application designed for archaeologists and excavation teams to manage stratigraphic data with precision. It allows users to create and organize multiple excavation sites, record detailed stratigraphic units (SUs) including layer types, soil descriptions, Munsell colors, and trench information. The app supports defining relationships between units (above, below, contemporary) to build accurate stratigraphic sequences. A standout feature is the automatic generation of Harris matrices, providing a visual representation of the stratigraphic order. Data is stored locally in the browser, ensuring offline access and data privacy. Additional functionalities include editing and deleting units, undoing deletions, and exporting data to CSV. With an intuitive interface and field-oriented design, StrataSync Pro streamlines on-site recording and post-excavation analysis, making it an essential tool for academic research, cultural resource management, and fieldwork education.
