TextRank Summarizer & Keywords

TextRank Summarizer & Keywords is an advanced tool that automatically summarizes long texts and extracts the most relevant keywords using the client-side TextRank algorithm. The user begins by providing text, which can be done either by pasting it directly into the input textarea or by dragging and dropping a standard .txt file onto the designated drop zone. Before processing, the user can configure the summarization output via two distinct modes: 'Compression ratio', which defines the summary length as a percentage of the original text, or 'Target sentences', which allows the user to specify the exact number of sentences for the final summary. Upon clicking the 'Summarize' button, the application analyzes the text and displays the results in the adjacent panel. This output includes the final generated summary and a list of the top keywords with their frequency counts. The tool also calculates and displays useful metadata, such as the total word count, estimated reading time, and a comparison of sentence count before and after summarization. For utility, the application includes features to export the summary as a .txt file and the keywords as a .csv file. Additionally, it offers state management, allowing the user to 'Save' their input text to local browser storage and 'Load' it in a future session, along with a 'Reset' button to clear all data.
